Remembering After Death

When a person dies is it right to remember them by the good or the bad things they did in their life? To me I believe that when a person dies you should try your best to remember what they did positive in life. i think that if you think of all the negative things then you are only adding more negativity to your own life.
As we all know the singer/actor star, Whitney Houston, died on feb 11, 2012. Due to this the president, Barack Obama, made a speach to express his condolences. In his speach he basicly said that Whitney was one of the best singers he had ever heard. I think that people were just giving him a hard time, but some did not like that he said this about her, knowing her past addiction to drugs. My question is, what does having a drug addiction have to do with your talent of singing? But I think Obama said the right thing, because your not soppose to say anything negative while giving your condolances about a person that has just died.
I also think that in order to avoid this situation Obama could nat have given his personal opinion. He could have said some thing like "I am sorry to the family of Whitney Houston, and you will be in prayers." I think this could have caused less of a problem for some of the people, but since he is the president I think some people would have still had a problem with whatever he says. In the end, I do not have a problem with what he said. Now, I want to know what you think. How would you feel about a person that had "dirt" on their past, and died? And do you feel about What obama said about Whiney Houston?

Smash or Pass

I saw in the news, maybe a few months back, there was a page on Facebook titled Smash or Pass. Smash is a new slang word that has come up in the past year, and it means to have sexual relations with someone, where as pass, means not to. What people do on this page is post pictures of themselves one it and random strangers will comment on weather they would smash or pass.
This to me is a problem because it is things like this that can damage a persons self-esteem. If a person was passed on this page I am sure that their self confidence is lowered. Another problem that was stated on the news was that people were no longer just putting pictures of themselves, but others as well. This made me think that if I were to be going through Facebook and saw that a picture of me was posted with our my permission would anger me. If the people posted bad things about me it is possible that it could hurt how I feel about myself.
Now, my question to you is how do you feel about the Smash or Pass page, and how would you feel if you saw a picture of yourself posted on it?

My Introduction to Tumblr

At the begining of the school year I was introduced to a new website by a good friend named Grainne. The name of this website is called Tumblr. To me it is a very enjoying website. Tumblr is a lot like this website but to me it is more entertaining, because of the millions of pictures or texts we could reblog. Based on the things that people reblog, you can see their personality or the way they are feeling at the moment. If you like the thinkgs that this person post or reblogs then you can follow them.
On my blog, you will find pictures or text that I found interestin or funny. Other pictures you will find includes my favorite bands or people from my favorite bands. The band you will see most on my Tumblr is Escape the Fate. Escape the Fate is my favorite band, and I get a lot of insperation from them when I think of music that I want to write.
On Tumblr, you can post pictures as well. You can make humorous comic strips, or take a picture with a camera and post in on, what is known as your profile. When this is on Tumblr the people can reblog or like your picture. When they reblog the picture others will be able to see it on what is known as their dashboard. this is how the picture is circulated. If you look at the notes of the post you can see what people have done with your picture, which is either reblogged or liked the post.
Overall, Tumblr is a great and fun website to use. I hope to continue using it for a long time, and in the end become "Tumblr famous!"
